For as far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by and in awe of pregnant women.  After all, a pregnant woman is a sight to behold, both on a physical level, as well as when you consider that life itself  is being created within that beautiful belly.

If only Professional Maternity Photography was a right instead of an option.  Because Maternity Pictures are not only wonderful but they can help to empower the mom-to-be as she approaches the birth of her child.  They can help reveal to her how glorious she is, within and without.

I do my Pregnancy Photography in the home or outside in nature.  Studio pictures can look wonderful, but to me they can lack soul and spontaneity.  There is a starkness to studio work that doesn’t fit for me with Maternity, and for that matter Baby, Photography. Warmth and personality really shine through when the pictures are done in the home, the haven to which you will be bringing your baby - transforming the home from that of a couple to that of a family.

If weather permits, outdoor Maternity Photos are also lovely - connecting yourself and your baby with nature.  And a combination of home and nature works very well too.

I offer a great Maternity Photographers package for expectant mothers that includes 2 sessions: one while pregnant, the other once the baby is born. Having these pictures side by side is a beautiful thing.
