Glenda & Dennis’s Wedding
I think yesterday was my third reception at the Estates of Sunnybrook this year - great location and great food. And I know I sound like a broken record but I’m so grateful to constantly be attracting the loveliest people, in this case, Glenda and Dennis. They have both waited for a long time to finally find each other and it is obvious how much they adore and respect each other. Before we arrived at Sunnybrook, the ceremony took place in one of Toronto’s most beautiful churches, Our Lady of Lourdes. The dome in the church is glorious. I was grateful too to be using the amazing Nikon D700 camera once we arrived at Sunnybrook at 5pm. With the light fading fast it was fun to test my baby’s stunning low-light performance. Anyway, here are some shots from yesterday’s wonderful wedding.

Bard, you were terrific. Back in the day, photographers were good, but they were limited by a lot….and I think for many of them it wasn’t quite the art form it has become in this day and age of advancing technology. That has certainly given options for creativity and design that continues to blow me away. This is the second family wedding I attended in three months. You have the same amazing qualities that I noted in the photographer of the other wedding in Sept - an artistic flair and originality that is immediately striking and impressive.
Beyond that, you also clearly do this work out of a sense of passion, not the need to pay the bills. Well, I’m sure it helps that the work pays the bills, but that’s quite evidently not your main motivation. So refreshing, and fortunate for us all!!
I have to add, on a personal note, how pleased I am to be able to connect with you DIRECTLY, to offer you an apology!! You asked me to come get you whenever there were speeches, and I forgot!! You have no idea how badly I felt that I didn’t remember to do that…..until the evening was long behind us!! If I’m not mistaken, you still magically appeared at the exact right time….
Thank you for taking such care with this special couple. We were - are - so thrilled for them both, that it had to be captured the right way…and you sure did just that.

To Glenda & Dennis, it’s a picture perfect :D.. The black & white add nostalgic and captured a forever lasting effect.
To the guy(s) behind lens nice job. Recommend to have a short video or slide show as teaser as well. Great photo arrangement (pose and angle).

Kudos to the two of you! You did a fantastic job. The moment you started “clicking” your cameras at Glenda’s home, then at the church and at the banquet, I knew Glenda and Dennis will have the best mementos of their wedding. I can’t wait to see the official pictures.

To Bard, the pictures were fantastic. The shot overlooking the church was perfect; you can actually see the walls glowing. The picture in the park, great idea using the leaves on the ground as part of the background, it really brought out Glenda’s dress. The picture in front of the fireplace was so elegant. Glenda, I never knew you were so limber.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful is the only way I can describe the entire wedding day. From the radiant bride to the glowing groom; from the church to the reception everything was beautiful and captured perfectly as evidenced from the pictures above.
