Jodi & David’s Wedding at Palais Royale
Jodi and David were married yesterday at the beautiful Palais Royale Ballroom, one of the nicest venues in the GTA. Having had quite a lot of mediocre wedding food, the dinner was amongst the best I’ve ever had, which is nice after a day’s work. The weather was hot but once the ceremony started it was quite manageable and the scene overlooking Lake Ontario was rather stunning. Also, can’t forget to mention the sumptuous cookies and pastries that David made himself in concert with the Palais’ pastry chef.
Here are some pictures from the wedding:

Bard, thank you so much for everything. These teaser shots are making me so excited to see the full set of photos from last night!! I’m glad you enjoyed the food — it was definitely a hit! And I love how these previews show off the glamour of the Palais Royale.
You were so much fun to work with and we were so glad you could be there to be that extra, everywhere set of eyes at the wedding.

Bard, these little teaser shots are AMAZING! But I might burst waiting for the real versions while Jodi is off camping! I can’t quite decide which of these little ones I like best, but it might be the one of Jodi being lifted in the chair. It captures her, and the moment, so perfectly.

Thanks very much for your comment Cordelia. There are actually 2 or 3 more of her on the chair and her reaction is pretty much the same – which is understandable. When else do you get carried around like that – it must be kind of scary at first. Anyway, a blink of an eye and the pix will be ready.

At my own wedding unfortunately they put all the short(er) guys on the front of my chair so it had a decided forward tilt! I was hanging on for dear life.

Good on you for holding on! Falling out might have put a little damper on the evening
