We spent parts of three days accompanying the Hon. George Pirie, Minister of Mines, during this week's PDAC Convention, which included him visiting booths, hosting a breakfast with Indigenous mining representatives, making an announcement at a press conference, holding private meetings with various country and corporate delegates, culminating with him appearing alongside other Ontario Ministers on a panel (Hon. Peter Bethlenfalvy, the Hon. Vic Fedeli and the Hon. Parm Gill).
Some politicos and corporate executives rarely smile - and as photographers, we're always hoping to catch people smiling because that is when they are at their most attractive. In this case, as you can see from these pix, I had an easy customer on my hands because Minister Pirie is an engaging and friendly man :)
