Queen Mary University of London Alumni Event

Queen Mary University of London held their biennial (I just learned this means every two years!) Alumni gathering on the Nineteenth Floor at the Fairmont Royal York last week.

This is a fun one to share because when it's a small event, in this case with less than 40 people, I'm always intent on getting at least one good close-up shot of everyone in attendance. As I walk around the room, I'm constantly scanning with eyes and ears for any kind of animated discussion. Once identified, I'm both looking to get candid group shots of that exchange, and if I have yet to get a dynamic close-up of that person, I'll maneuver to find an angle to capture that - as well as the rest of the shots, of course... There's always a mini dopamine hit when I get that close-up shot :)
